Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is often recommended by plastic surgeons as post surgical liposuction treatment, yet there are few massage therapist certified to administer this therapy. John began MLD and massage treatments a week after my surgery and continued for 10 weeks. The procedures significantly reduced swelling and minimized scar tissue. Arriving late may result in a shortened massage session in order to accommodate following appointments.
